Uniform

We believe that our school uniform and dress code should reflect the standards and ethos of The English College. We have clear uniform and dress code guidelines, which all students are expected to conform to. Students need to be aware of our expectations and we would ask parents to insist that their child meets these expectations when they are wearing their uniform, both at school and outside of school. We will challenge any student whose uniform does not meet our expectations and we reserve the right to ask a student to leave school premises to correct their uniform and/or learn from home until they are able to return to school in the correct uniform.

School Transport

MAVERICK – a private, independent, specialist school transport company operating in the UAE since 2009.

Familiar with schools’ and parents’ expectations, Maverick strictly follows RTA and KHDA rules & regulations. They supply a number of premium schools in Dubai and carry out over 1,000,000 stops a year – on time – every school day.

WHY MAVERICK?
Maverick’s number one priority is the safety of the students they transport and they work tirelessly to ensure the peace of mind of those who have entrusted their children to them. All Maverick Systems and Procedures are designed to ensure safety of staff, children and road users.

SAFETY 
All vehicles are maintained in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and requirements. Buses are not only kept clean on the outside, but are in excellent shape under the bonnet as well. In addition to this, steps are taken to provide maximum possible safety to students who are travelling on buses by installing various safety related systems such as:

• Seat Belts
• Voice Reminder System
• Bell System
• GPS Tracking System
• CCTV Cameras and DVR
• No child left behind / patrol system
• Digital display while students on board

The buses for all students depart from school from Monday to Thursday at 3:30 pm and Friday at 12:15 pm. For further details about the service and routes, please get in touch with the transport coordinator.
